MOROCCO COLLECTION: CITIES OF ONE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS MOTORCYCLE TOUR

Considered by travellers to be one of the most fascinating countries in North Africa for the variety of landscapes that characterize it, and which is impossible to find elsewhere, all in a single destination.

In a succession of scenarios of a thousand and one nights: an expedition to the country of the great Empire.

The charm of its Imperial Cities, the majestic Atlas Mountains with its alpine landscapes, the immense rich valleys of Ksar fortified and thousands of tiny villages will take us back in time.

It is one of the most intense journeys that can be faced for the different social and cultural aspects that will amaze with its unpredictability, rewarding with the beauty, the country, the culture and the amazing encounters thanks to a mixed Arab-Berber-African black people. Ethnic groups that coexist without problems.

Without forgetting the tasty typical cuisine with the ubiquitous "Tajine" (beef or lamb stew or vegetables) and the very pleasant rest breaks in typical hammams.

And of course the numerous architectural styles brought by foreigners who express from the rudimentary decorations to the more refined and luxurious ones of coloured tiles.

PROGRAM

Day 1: arrive in Fes

Arrival by plane to Fes. Afternoon free to visit the city, the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco, the largest and most majestic of the imperial cities. We will visit its medieval medina, Fes-el Bali, (world heritage site) the oldest in all of Morocco, along which it seems to go back centuries. We will walk through narrow alleys, sounds, smells and colours, small bazaars, markets, souqs, tiny shops where ancient crafts are held, mosques, medersas (Koranic schools),tanneries for skins with huge colored tanks, merchants and mules that make their way among people carrying all kinds of merchandise. We could then see Fes-el-Jdid with the Mellah, the Jewish quarter and the Royal Palace and possibly pay a visit to the famous ceramic factories, located on the outskirts of the city. Overnight in 4-star Hotel / Riad.

Day 2: From Fes to Meknes - 110 km / 68 miles

Breakfast in Hotel / Riad. In the morning, delivery of motorbikes and equipment. We will then leave for Volubilis, where we will be able to walk among the ruins of the ancient Roman city, whose origin dates back to the 3rd century BC and admire the remains of the famous mosaics. Next stop Meknes, another important imperial city of Morocco, located between hills full of vines and olive trees, where we will arrive in the early afternoon. Free visit of the city. Dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel.

Day 3: from Meknes to Imichil - 290 km / 180 miles 

Wake up early in the morning, breakfast and departure for Imichil via Khenifra. We will stop at the sources of Oum Rabia, where you can play with photography or relax with the sound of water in the background. Back in the saddle and we will continue on the road to reach Imichil. Typical Moroccan dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel.

Day 4: from Imichil to Ouarzazate - 310 km / 192 miles

Breakfast and departure for Ouarzazate. During the tour, visit the enchanting mountain oasis of Tineghir, whose palm grove is one of the largest in the country and the Todra gorges, an impressive narrow gap between two walls over 300 meters high, where the river of the same name flows all year round . Continue to El Kelaa de Mgouna, a village famous for the "rose festival" and to the Skoura oasis. Arrival in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel.

Day 5: from Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddouh - 60 km / 37 miles

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a visit to the Kasbah of Ouarzazate. Departing in a northerly direction, after a brief transfer, we will arrive at the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddouh, one of the best preserved kasbahs in the Atlas, used as a movie set for numerous films and TV series such as the Gladiator and The Throne of Swords. Dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star Hotel / Riad.

Day 6: from Ait Ben Haddou to Taroudant - 260 km / 161 miles

Breakfast and departure. Through magnificent scenery and some movie sets we will reach Taroudant, called, not surprisingly, the small Marrakech, a little out of the traditional tourist tours. We will visit the magnificent city walls, which rise like an oasis in the middle of the desert! 6 km long, they are very impressive and have a beautiful ocher yellow color. This ancient citadel has about 130 towers and turrets that made it unassailable by enemies. The visit will be particularly fascinating. Dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel.

Day 7: from Taroudant to Essaouira - 250 km / 155 miles 

Breakfast and departure for Essaouira, stopping by the sea in Agadir for a brief lunch in the sun. A beautiful road by the sea will then take us to our next destination, Essaouira, a pearl on the sea, with its endless beaches, always very windy for the surfers' enjoyment. Our Hotel, by the sea, will welcome us to allow us a little relaxation and maybe a swim in the pool or the sea and finally we will eat fresh fish at the port. Overnight in a 4-star hotel on the sea.

Day 8: from Essaouira to Marrakech - 190 km / 118 miles

Breakfast and free morning to enjoy relaxing on the beach or visiting the city. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, return of motorbikes. Free visit of the city. We will arrive in time to visit the famous Djemma El Fna square, the most known and characteristic of the whole Maghreb. In the magical capital of the south we will be able to dine immersed in the folklore of the numerous banquets that prepare the most characteristic local specialties. In addition to its medina, which opens around the famous square, you can visit the Mosque, the Medersa, the museum, in the old part, or the new Marrakech of Gueliz, with trendy cafes, boutiques and nightclubs. An exotic city as it is a meeting point for different cultures and countries. Free dinner. Overnight in a 4-star hotel / Riad.

Day 9: good flight!

After breakfast transfer to the airport.

If the minimum number of participants isn’t reached, the tour may be cancelled or run with a different format.

• Motorcycle rental with top case. (A security deposit on the motorcycle requested).
• The bike rental prices include 3rd part insurance and roadside assistance insurance in case of breakdown.
• All lunches (could be packed or in local restaurants).

• We also suggest that anyone traveling abroad for one of our tours consider purchasing "travel insurance". It can eliminate worry from unexpected situations that can arise in any travel plan.

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

• Advanced payment of 1000 euro to be paid at the moment of the reservation (The deposit will be completely refundable in the event that we do not reach the minimum number of participants or in an agreed manner between the parties, if the tour will be made in modality different with different services).
• Balance to be paid 60 days before the departure date subject to confirmation by our organization

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Up to 60 days before the start date, the advanced payment is kept for the entire following season as credit towards a tour or a rental.
• From the 59th day to the 15th day before the start date,  you lose the advanced payment. The balance is kept for the entire following season towards a tour.
• From the 15th day before the start date, you lose the 50% of the total amount. The other 50% is kept for the entire following season towards a tour or a rental.
