We will get into the heart of wonderful Tuscany, we will come to know Umbria, less famous but equally interesting and then the Independent republic of San Marino, the oldest republic in the world. Plus, we will have the chance to drive on really wonderful roads.

DISCOVERING TUSCANY AND UMBRIA

Get ready for the motorcycle adventure of a lifetime! This incredible tour will take you on an unforgettable journey through some of Italy’s most stunning regions, blending breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. From the stylish streets of Milan to the Renaissance masterpieces of Florence, the medieval charm of Siena, the timeless beauty of Tuscany, and the spiritual heart of Umbria, every day offers a new discovery.

You’ll ride along scenic roads, twisty mountain passes, and through charming villages steeped in tradition. Experience iconic landmarks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the majestic Piazza del Campo in Siena, and the awe-inspiring Marmore Falls. Marvel at the tranquil beauty of Trasimeno Lake, explore ancient towns like San Gimignano and Civita di Bagnoregio, and end your journey in the Eternal City, Rome.

PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival in Milan

Welcome to Milan! In the evening, we will gather for a welcome dinner and a briefing to get to know each other and prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2: From Milan to Lucca - 300 km / 186 miles

After completing all rental formalities, we’ll pick up our motorbikes and hit the motorway heading south. By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Lucca, a charming town surrounded by perfectly preserved medieval walls. Renting a bicycle to explore the town is highly recommended.

Day 3: From Lucca to Florence - 200 km / 124 miles

We’ll start the day with a visit to Pisa, where we’ll explore the iconic Piazza dei Miracoli and the famous Leaning Tower. Continuing through scenic landscapes, we’ll visit picturesque villages, including San Gimignano, known for its medieval towers symbolizing economic power in the Middle Ages. By evening, we’ll reach Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance.

Day 4: Rest day in Florence

This day is dedicated to exploring Florence, a treasure trove of monuments and art. Wander through its streets, marvel at masterpieces, and soak in the rich history of this iconic city. One day will never be enough, but it will leave you eager to return.

Day 5: From Florence to San Marino - 230 km / 142 miles

Leaving Florence, we’ll ride through the stunning Tuscan countryside on winding roads leading to San Marino. Perched on Mount Titano, San Marino offers panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and Romagna coast. Explore its medieval city center and walk along the paths connecting its three iconic towers.

Day 6: From San Marino to Siena - 288 km / 178 miles

Our journey continues towards Castel Fiorentino, followed by a visit to the charming town of Gubbio. Crossing back into Tuscany, we’ll reach Siena, Florence’s historic rival and a city rich in medieval charm and culture.

Day 7: Rest Day in Siena

Spend the day exploring Siena, famous for the Palio horse race held twice a year. Visit Piazza del Campo, dominated by the elegant Torre del Mangia, and imagine the thrilling bareback race that fills the city with excitement and passion.

Day 8: From Siena to Perugia - 180 km / 112 miles

We’ll ride along the scenic Road of the Crete, enjoying breathtaking views of Tuscany’s iconic cypress-dotted hills. Crossing into Umbria, we’ll pass by Trasimeno Lake before arriving in Perugia, the region’s capital and a city steeped in history and charm.

Day 9: From Perugia to Orvieto - 180 km / 112 miles

Today, we’ll continue exploring Umbria with visits to Assisi, home of Saint Francis, and Terni, near the spectacular Marmore Falls—the highest in Italy. We’ll end the day in Orvieto, where the stunning façade of its cathedral will leave you in awe.

Day 10: From Orvieto to Rome - 150 km / 93 miles

On the final day of our journey, we’ll visit Civita di Bagnoregio, an incredible hilltop village connected by a dramatic viaduct. From there, we’ll pass by the volcanic Bolsena Lake before reaching Rome, the Eternal City. In the evening, we’ll celebrate our adventure with a farewell dinner.

Day 11: Departure Day

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airport. Farewell and arrivederci! We hope to see you again on another unforgettable journey.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 8

If the minimum number of participants isn’t reached, the tour may be cancelled or run with a different format.

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

  • Motorcycle rental with bags. (A security deposit on the motorcycle requested).
  • The bike rental prices include 3rd part insurance and roadside assistance insurance in case of breakdown.
  • Welcome and farewell dinners.
  • Accommodation in 4-star hotels when available at the time of booking.
  • Transfer to and from the airport.
  • Multilingual tour leader.
  • Transfer to and from the rental agency.
  • Support van. The van will carry a replacement motorcycle available for participants in case of problems or breakdowns. You will be able to use the van for carrying suitcases (1 suitcase + 1 handbag per person),an extended service also for all the souvenirs you will buy along the way. The van also has two seats for passengers in case of need or for rest of the motorcycle trip!
  • A detailed road book with all the information and a map with the itinerary well marked.
  • Insurance covering most any medical issue during the trip including, doctors, ambulance, hospital and any appropriate family travel.

 

IS NOT INCLUDED:

  • Fuel for your motorcycle.
  • Tolls on motorways.
  • Entrance tickets to museums or other touristic sites.
  • Tips and gratuities
  • All meals except welcome and farewell dinners.
  • All beverages.
  • National and international flights
  • We also suggest that anyone traveling abroad for one of our tours consider purchasing "travel insurance". It can eliminate worry from unexpected situations that can arise in any travel plan.

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

  • Advanced payment of 1000 euro to be paid at the moment of the reservation (The deposit will be completely refundable in the event that we do not reach the minimum number of participants or in an agreed manner between the parties, if the tour will be made in modality different with different services).
  • Balance to be paid 60 days before the departure date subject to confirmation by our organization

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Up to 60 days before the start date, the advanced payment is kept for the entire following season as credit towards a tour or a rental.
  • From the 59th day to the 15th day before the start date,  you lose the advanced payment. The balance is kept for the entire following season towards a tour or a rental.
  • From the 15th day before the start date, you lose the 50% of the total amount. The other 50% is kept for the entire following season towards a tour or a rental.
